ACTIVITIES

1st Wednesday of the month: Management Committee meeting at 10am. Members arrive at 12pm to see the Member's Artwork Display, to visit the Library and then hear a few brief announcements from the President at 12.30pm. At 12.45pm there is a demonstration by a well known artist. See program below. Half way through the demonstration we break for afternoon tea then the demonstration is completed. Cost: members $4, non-members $5. Finish 4pm.

2nd Wednesday of the month: 'Plein air' (outdoor) painting at various locations generally in the Shire. Meet on site at 10am until about 1pm or 2pm. No charge.

3rd Wednesday of the month: Painting in the hall 12pm to 4pm. Cost - members $4, non-members $5. A day for all members of the society to come together to paint in a friendly atmosphere and to support each other in an informal workshop type activity. We want to build this activity up in 2009 so if you don't work on the 3rd and 4th Wednesdays come along and increase your knowledge and share yours with others and have a lot of fun.
For new or inexperienced members there are lessons given in acrylic painting at no cost other than the $4 entry.

4th Wednesday of the month: Painting in the hall 1pm to 4pm. Cost - members $4, non-members $5, as above for 3rd Wednesday.

Note: There is no activity on the 5th Wednesday in the month when it occurs. However on 29 July and 30 September there will be inaugural Life Drawing classes from 1pm to 4pm in the hall. Hit "Event Calendar" button.
