Our Feature Artists for the Show: Norma (left) and Lyn

The art show was held on 29th and 30th August. It was a great success with 253 entries received and over $5,000 worth of paintings sold. A profit was made and workers and entrants enjoyed themselves immensely.The whole procedure was streamlined compared with last year, resulting in a lot less hassle and less time required in setting up and pulling down.

Prize money of $1,250 was awarded.

Congratulations to the award winners and indeed all those who entered. A healthy number of external (non-member) entries were received, one from as far away as Queensland!
