ACTIVITIES

1st Wednesday of the month: Management Committee meeting at 10am. Members arrive at 12pm to see the Member's Artwork Display, to visit the Library and then there is a brief General Meeting to hear announcements from the President at 12.30pm. At 12.45pm there is a Demonstration by a well known artist. Half way through the demonstration we break for afternoon tea. Cost: members $5, non-members $6. Finish 4pm.

See details of the whole year's program by hitting the event calendar button at top left.

2nd, 3rd and 4th Wednesdays of the month 1pm - 4pm: Painting in the hall:
Cost - members $5, non-members $6. A day for all members of the society to come together to paint in a friendly atmosphere and to support each other in an informal workshop type activity. We want to build this activity up so if you don't work on these days come along and increase your knowledge and share yours with others and have a lot of fun. Afternoon tea supplied.
For new or inexperienced members there are FREE ART LESSONS given in acrylic painting at no cost other than the $5 entry (which covers hall hire and afternoon tea).

5th Wednesday of the month: 1pm to 4pm: Life Drawing
Life Drawing is held in the hall on the 5th Wednesday of the month. So far the classes are drawing a good attendance. Members of other art societies are also very welcome, in fact, encouraged to attend. Entry fee is $12 members, $15 non-members.

'Plein air' (outdoor) painting at various locations generally in the Shire. Occasional, informal days only, initiated by individual, interested members when required. No charge. Click on "outdoor painting" for more information.
