ACTIVITIES

1st Wednesday of the month: Management Committee meeting at 10am. Members arrive at 12pm to see the Member's Artwork Display, to visit the Library and then there is a brief General Meeting to hear announcements from the President at 12.30pm. At 12.45pm there is a Demonstration by a well known artist. See program below. Half way through the demonstration we break for afternoon tea. Cost: members $5, non-members $6. Finish 4pm.

2nd Wednesday of the month: 'Plein air' (outdoor) painting at various locations generally in the Shire. Meet on site at 10am until about 1pm or 2pm. No charge. Click on "outdoor painting" for more information.

3rd and 4th Wednesday of the month: 1pm to 4pm. Painting in the hall. Cost - members $5, non-members $6. A day for all members of the society to come together to paint in a friendly atmosphere and to support each other in an informal workshop type activity. We want to build this activity up so if you don't work on the 3rd and 4th Wednesdays come along and increase your knowledge and share yours with others and have a lot of fun. Afternoon tea supplied. For new or inexperienced members there are lessons given in acrylic painting at no cost other than the $5 entry.

5th Wednesday of the month: 1pm to 4pm. Life Classes
Note: Life Classes are being trialled on the 5th Wednesday of the month when it occurs. So far the classes are drawing a good attendance.
