My pleas to our membership for assistance on your committee did not fall onto deaf ears. Olga Kolesnik and Cheryl Young have graciously volunteered their services to assist our society in moving forward. Please make Olga and Cheryl wel-come, knowing they are your representatives in management decisions affecting the Society. Do not hesitate in talking to them or any other com-mittee member if you have any concerns or ideas about your society and its activities.
We are fast approaching our next AGM so please consider a position on the committee as it is always good to see new members who bring their expertise and ideas to our decision making to the benefit of all members.
Also looming is the Society’s annual art exhibition held at the PCYC, Sutherland on 28 and 29th August. There are five sections for competition and prize money is being offered for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in each category. Pamela Griffiths, a respected artist and judge, will be adjudicating at this exhibition. Please read you application forms carefully and conform to the requirements stated . These rules are made so everyone gets a fair go and we as a Society are elevated professionally within the community.
